<p>Local music ambassadors <a href="http://vivemusic.ca/" target="_blank">Vive Music</a>&nbsp;bring the finest independent music to Saskatoon&nbsp;from March 31st to April 3rd. Three intimate venues across the city come alive with an eclectic supermix of music influences from Saskatoon and Regina.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The VF3 Film Festival takes place at the&nbsp;Cafe Sola Backroom from noon until 2pm on Saturday (free).</p>

<p><strong><a href="http://www.internationalwomensday.com/default.asp" target="_blank">International Women's Day</a></strong> has been recognized and celebrated since the early 1900s, a time of great expansion and turbulence in the industrialized world that saw booming population growth and the rise of radical ideologies.</p>
<p>It was only 100 years ago when women from only two countries were allowed to vote; now,&nbsp;IWD is observed by women and public institutions in all countries and is a statutory holiday in 14 countries.</p>
<p>To commemorate the centenary of IWD, <a href="http://www.facebook.com/pages/Centro-Office-Lounge/170719902938487" target="_blank">Centro Business Lounge</a> and The Chicks Who Click hosted the 6 Minute Lowdown in spirit of International Women's Day. This informal networking event was represented by local women from a variety of professional backgrounds.&nbsp;6-minute talks from 6 women who shared their personal and professional experiences surrounding themes of development, community, leadership, independence and entrepreneurship.&nbsp;</p>
